St. Patrick’s Cathedral

Out on a date with my wife recently, we were walking through the city and saw the work going on in St. Patrick’s Cathedral and went inside to take a look. Scaffolding could be seen in almost every visible area and surrounded the main altar which shone brightly in the work lights. The lights and the intricate design of the scaffolding created a beautiful lacework feel to the inside. I like scaffolding. For me it always holds the promise of renewal and something beautiful to come and the varied angles in work lights capture your attention. Can’t wait to see what it will look like when it is finished.
